    EduAid-Africa Webinars & Expo — Remote Volunteer Roles (Multiple)

    Organization: Santos Creations Educational Foundation (SCEF) — NESA-Africa / EduAid-Africa

    Location: Remote (Africa/Lagos time preferred). Optional in-person support in Lagos, Nigeria.

    Type: Volunteer (Unpaid) • Certificates & training provided

    Program Window: 7 Oct 2025 – 28 Feb 2026 (option to continue in 2026–2027)

    Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per episode (some roles are event-day only, 90–120 min)

    Timezone: Africa/Lagos (WAT)

    About EduAid-Africa

    EduAid-Africa runs a weekly webinar series (9 episodes) and a virtual Expo to turn dialogue into funded scholarships, safer schools, teacher upskilling, and employability pathways across Africa—aligned to SDG 4 and AU Agenda 2063. We also support Teachers’ Training Clinics and “My Career, My Life” (G&C) for secondary students in every African country.

    What You’ll Do (core cycle)

    • Mon: 30–45 min rehearsal
    • Tue (Live): Green Room H-60 (55 min) → 75-min webinar → quick wrap/export
    • T+1h: replay email (by Comms/Tech)
    • T+24h: deliver 2-page Research Note + 1-page Policy Options Box (for content roles), tidy SRT/VTT captions
    • T+72h: outcomes post, pledge follow-ups, invites for next episode

    Open Volunteer Roles (apply for 1–2)

    On-Air & Content

    • Anchor / Co-Host — welcome audiences, bridge segments, read CTAs, pull 2–3 audience Qs.
    • Speaker Liaison — collect bios/headshots/slides; schedule H-60 tech check; thank-yous.
    • Panel Structuring — line up 6–10 panelists; prep 3 crisp prompts.
    • Research Note Writer — produce a cited 2-pager (T+24h).
    • Policy Options Box Editor — 1-page Low/Medium/High action menu (owners, timelines, indicators).

    Production & Accessibility

    • Technical / Streaming Operator — run Zoom/Studio + Restream; overlays; record; export.
    • Green-Room Producer — mic/cam checks; name slates; slide tests; cue speakers.
    • Captions & Subtitles QA / Interpretation Support — fix auto-captions to SRT/VTT; coordinate EN⇄FR/AR/SW/PT channels.
    • Graphic Designer (Canva/Figma) — weekly hero, 3 tiles, thumbnail, end card, lower-thirds.

    Community & Growth

    • Social Media Live Desk — live-thread quotes; pin links; moderate; “We’re live/Replay” posts; “5 insights” thread (T+24h).
    • Pledge & MoU Recorder — capture on-air commitments; log owner/contact/timeline; route follow-ups.
    • Data & Analytics — update dashboard (registrations, peak, watch time, replay, CTR, pledges).
    • Ambassador / Chapter Liaison — run watch-parties; local-language posts; 5–8 line recap; recruit schools for G&C.

    Also welcoming Teachers’ Training Clinic Assistants and G&C School Liaisons (2026–2027).

    Requirements

    • Reliable internet, webcam, headset mic, quiet/bright space
    • Comfort with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides; WhatsApp/Slack for coordination
    • Tech roles: Zoom Webinar/StreamYard/Restream basics (we train on overlays/timers)
    • Writing roles: clear, concise English; French/Arabic/Swahili/Portuguese are strong pluses
    • Neutral, child-safe conduct; meet deadlines; team player across time zones

    Training & Support

    • Orientation (60 min): safeguarding, neutrality, brand, privacy
    • Role Clinics (45 min): Tech & Green-Room • Research & Policy • Pledge/Donor Care • Social/Media
    • Templates & tools: run-sheet, cue cards, captions guide, brand kit, Canva/Figma frames

    Time & Scheduling

    • Minimum commitment: 1 episode cycle (~3–5 hrs).
    • Preferred: 3–5 episodes or full series + Expo.
    • Rotas posted Fridays for the following Tuesday. 48-hour notice if you can’t make a shift.
