    Description

    Administrative Assistant

🐾 URGENT: We Need a Right-Hand Leader for GreenePets Foster Network 🐾

Volunteer Executive Assistant / Operations Manager-in-Training

Our President has her hands full — too full — and the animals are the ones losing out. We need someone who’s computer literate, organized, and ready to take the ball and run with it. If you’re passionate about animal welfare and have the skills to help us get back on track, this is your chance to make a real difference.

💼 What We Need Help With

    • Creating and maintaining Operations Manuals for rescue and adoption programs
    • Tracking new legislation affecting animal welfare and rescue operations
    • Researching suppliers and purchasing sources for medical, kennel, and foster needs
    • Developing and managing donation programs and fundraising outreach
    • Assisting with scheduling, events, and volunteer coordination
    • Helping the President stay focused and organized (we mean it!)

This position could easily grow into the next President or Executive Director role for GreenePets Foster Network.

We’re looking for someone with initiative, integrity, and heart — someone who genuinely cares.

    🧰 Skills We’re Looking For

    • Strong computer literacy and communication skills
    • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)
    • QuickBooks Pro or other bookkeeping experience
    • Operations and procedural documentation experience
    • Excellent organization, follow-through, and accountability
    • Passion for helping homeless, neglected, and abused animals

    ❤️ Why It Matters

GreenePets has been rescuing and rehoming animals since 2004. But passion alone isn’t enough anymore — we need strong leadership and solid systems to keep saving lives. If you can help us rebuild structure, coordination, and communication, you’ll be directly responsible for more animals finding their forever homes.
