Camp Sunshine Camp Counselor

Camp Sunshine provides free, year-round retreats for families with children battling life-threatening illnesses. Because our families attend at no cost, our camp counselors are volunteers and are an essential part of making each session possible!

There are so many ways to get involved, including:

🎨 Leading activities in our Arts & Crafts room

⛺ Serving as a counselor within our camper groups (ages 0–18)

🍳 Helping prepare meals in our kitchen

🚤 Assisting with boating and activities at our waterfront

📸 Capturing special moments as a camp photographer

…and so much more!

There truly is something for everyone! Whether you love working directly with children, enjoy being behind the scenes, or have a special skill you’d like to share, we’d love to have you join us.

And the best part? Volunteers receive free on-site housing, three meals a day, laundry services, and more during their session.

📍 Camp Sunshine is located in Casco, Maine, and volunteers come from all over. If you can make it to us, we’d love to have you!
