Looking for a flexible and meaningful volunteer opportunity? Join us at the Gone for Good Warehouse in Fairfield and support an inclusive employment program for adults with developmental disabilities.
Volunteers work alongside staff and program participants to help keep operations running smoothly while supporting inclusion, skill-building, and independence.
What is Gone for Good?
Gone for Good is one of UCP of the North Bay's employment programs designed to provide meaningful job training and work opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities in a supportive, community-based environment. The GFG Warehouse is where donations from our curbside and drive-up pickup services are received, sorted, processed, packaged, and distributed to our Flipside Thrift Store locations.
Volunteer Tasks May Include:
- Testing donated electronics
- Donation intake
- Sorting and organizing items
- Packaging and preparing products
- General warehouse support
Scheduling Details
- Shifts: 2–4 hours
- Available Hours: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling available
- No experience needed, just willingness to learn!
