    Description

Social Media Manager - Storytelling Team

Volunteer | Remote | Flexible schedule

    Who We Are

At Creshendo, we believe everyone deserves the chance to belong, rebuild, and rise. In partnership with displaced communities, we co-create solutions by listening deeply, collaborating intentionally, and centering lived experience.

Driven by integrity, empathy, and curiosity, we design bold, inclusive programs that reimagine what’s possible for displaced communities. If you’re passionate about challenging the status quo and driving meaningful change, you’ll feel right at home here.

    Why This Role Matters

Social media is one of the most powerful ways we connect with our community and amplify refugee and migrant voices. As our Social Media Manager, you’ll help shape how Creshendo shows up online—building visibility, engagement, and meaningful connection across platforms.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • You’ll develop and implement a clear social media strategy, helping us grow with dignity and impact.
    • You’ll write thoughtful captions and messaging, ensuring our content feels human, not corporate.
    • You’ll collaborate with the Storytelling and MarComms teams, supporting the amplification of original content.
    • You’ll coordinate content calendars and scheduling, contributing to consistency and reach.
    • You’ll track engagement and refine our approach, ensuring we stay responsive and impactful.

    What You Bring

    • A mindset for creative problem-solving. You enjoy trying new things.
    • Openness to diverse perspectives. You know the best ideas come from collaboration.
    • Experience managing organizational or brand social media accounts.
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft captions rooted in empathy and connection.
    • Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok trends and planning tools.
    • Excitement for growing a digital presence from the ground up.

    What You’ll Gain

    • The chance to play a central role in shaping the public voice of an international nonprofit.
    • Creative freedom to test and lead new approaches.
    • Collaboration with a bold, mission-driven team.
    • Portfolio-ready content and real-world experience in social justice communications.
    • The satisfaction of helping migrant and refugee stories reach a global audience.

    How We Work

We operate with a G.Y.S.T. mindset: clarity over chaos, consistency over perfection, action over ego. If you’re someone who follows through, communicates clearly, and cares about doing things well, you’ll feel at home here.

Send a short email to hr@creshendo.org with:
