Help Us Bring Holiday Joy to Children and Families!

This holiday season, Find Community Connection Project (FCCP) is building a passionate New Jersey volunteer team to support our 2026 Magical Holiday Community Resource Day in Kearny, NJ!

We believe every child deserves to experience the joy of the holiday season, and every family deserves to feel supported by their community.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers, community connectors, students, professionals, and local leaders who want to help us make this year's holiday celebration truly magical.

We need more than volunteers for event day. We need a team of community champions to help make it happen!

Volunteer Opportunities

Holiday Fundraising & Sponsorship Team

• Help identify local businesses and potential sponsors.
• Support donation drives for toys, gifts, supplies, and event resources.
• Assist with fundraising campaigns and community giving initiatives.
• Help connect FCCP with businesses interested in giving back.

Community Outreach & Partnership Team

• Build relationships with Kearny and Hudson County businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, and community groups.
• Help recruit volunteers and community partners.
• Distribute event flyers and share information with local residents.
• Encourage local organizations to participate in the holiday initiative.

Event Promotion & Social Media Team

• Promote the event through social media and community networks.
• Help create engaging posts, flyers, photographs, and videos.
• Share volunteer opportunities and donation requests.
• Help spread awareness throughout Kearny and surrounding New Jersey communities.

Holiday Toy Drive & Event Support Team

• Help coordinate toy collection and donation drop-offs.
• Assist with sorting, organizing, and preparing donated items.
• Support event registration, family engagement, and resource distribution.
• Help with event setup, activities, and cleanup.

• Have an interest in fundraising, event planning, marketing, or nonprofit work.

• Want to gain hands-on leadership and community engagement experience.
• Are reliable, creative, and excited to work as part of a team.

No prior experience is required!

Students, college clubs, corporate volunteer teams, community organizations, families, and first-time volunteers are encouraged to join.

Build Your Skills While Giving Back

Volunteers will have opportunities to develop valuable experience in nonprofit operations, fundraising, community outreach, event coordination, teamwork, and leadership.

This is also an opportunity to help strengthen FCCP's growing New Jersey community volunteer team and participate in future community initiatives.

Team meetings, orientation, and coordination will take place at scheduled times. Additional outreach and volunteer activities will be organized throughout the community.
