    Description

Volunteers Needed To Visit Patients Wherever They Call Home

Are you searching for a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of others? Do you have a kind heart and a desire to bring comfort to those facing the end of life's journey? If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team of hospice volunteers. Administrative opportunities available as well.

At 24/7 Care at Home Hospice, we believe that everyone deserves compassion and support during their final days. We provide care and comfort to patients wherever they call home. We understand that the presence of a caring individual can make all the difference, and that's where you come in.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life: college students, adults with flexible schedules, retirees... anyone who wants to make a positive impact. You don't need medical experience or specific qualifications to volunteer with us-just an open heart and a willingness to be there for others in their time of need.

As a hospice volunteer, you will have the opportunity to provide companionship, emotional support, and a listening ear to patients and families. Your presence alone can bring joy and comfort to their lives. Whether you engage in heartfelt conversations, read aloud, play music, or simply hold a hand, your time and presence will make a world of difference.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, we require all volunteers to pass a background test and a TB test. These tests are provided by our hospice, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone involved. Additionally, volunteers must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance as you may need to travel to various locations to visit patients.

By volunteering with our 24/7 Care at Home Hospice, you will not only make a profound impact on the lives of our patients and their families, but you will also experience personal growth and fulfillment. The bonds you form and the stories you hear will stay with you forever. It's an opportunity to create lasting memories and leave a legacy of compassion.

If you are ready to embark on this incredible journey of service and kindness, we would be honored to have you join our team. Together, we can bring light, love, and support to those who need it most.

Please reach out to our Jamie, our Volunteer Coordinator at jamie.slade@247cah.com by to start the process of becoming a hospice volunteer. We can't wait to welcome you into our compassionate community. bilingual Vietnamese and Spanish speaking volunteers are strongly encouraged to apply.
