    Description

    The Lovepost is a solution-focused publication dedicated to exploring and promoting initiatives that drive positive change in the world. Our upcoming section, "Pioneering Programs," will explore tangible solutions making real-world impact, offering in-depth analyses of programs and interventions that have led to measurable improvements across various domains.

    We are seeking a skilled and passionate Section Editor to lead our "Pioneering Programs" section. The ideal candidate will have a background in journalism, exceptional editorial skills and a keen interest in solution-focused content. As Section Editor, you will oversee the development and publication of high-quality articles, manage a team of writers and contributors, and ensure that all content aligns with The Lovepost's mission and standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the creation of engaging and informative content for the "Pioneering Programs" section, focusing on case studies and analyses of impactful programs worldwide.
    • Edit articles to ensure clarity, accuracy and adherence to* The Lovepost's *style and tone.
    • Recruit and oversee a diverse team of writers.
    • Develop and manage the editorial schedule for Pioneering Programs, ensuring timely publication of content that resonates with our audience and supports our mission.

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in media, communications, social sciences, public policy or a related field OR equivalent experience in editorial leadership, content development, or program-focused storytelling.
    • Demonstrated experience in writing, editing or managing content (e.g., university publications, nonprofit projects, professional work or freelance experience).
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple contributors and deadlines.
    • A passion for solution-focused storytelling and The Lovepost’s mission.
    • Leadership experience is a plus but not required-what matters most is the ability to write, edit, collaborate and motivate others.
