    Description

    Position Description

    The Website Management Department supports the organization’s online presence through website organization, design, and ongoing maintenance. Website Management Interns collaborate closely with the Outreach and Graphic Design departments to ensure the website remains current, visually engaging, and aligned with the organization’s mission and activities. Interns contribute to implementing new features, enhancing brand identity, and improving user experience. This role also provides opportunities to build and customize website components using programming and web development tools.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with website updates, organization, and content management
    • Collaborate with Outreach and Graphic Design teams to maintain visual and messaging consistency
    • Support implementation of new website features, including membership related pages
    • Help improve user experience and website functionality
    • Assist in maintaining accuracy and consistency of online content
    • Support ongoing website maintenance and optimization efforts

    Requirements

    • Basic understanding of website structure and content management
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to collaborate across departments
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms

    Preferred Background

    • Coursework or experience in web development, computer science, information technology, or related fields
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar technologies
    • Experience with website builders or content management systems is a plus
    • Interest in nonprofit organizations, healthcare, or digital communications

    Time Commitment

    • Approximately 10 hours per week
    • Flexible scheduling based on academic commitments
