    Description

Write a thank you note to a Little Free Library steward during Random Acts of Kindness Week

Random Acts of Kindness Week in February encourages everyone to make kindness the norm in their everyday actions. One way to spread kindness during this week is to write a thank you note to a local Little Free Library steward! (A steward is an individual or group of people who care for a Little Free Library book-sharing box.) These notes help stewards see how their Little Free Library book-sharing boxes are making an impact in their communities.

Purpose: Strengthen community connections and spread kindness by showing your gratitude for a community resource.

    How to Participate:

    • Sign up on our website. We will share tips for creating your thank you note and some printable thank you note templates.
    • During Random Acts of Kindness Week (Feb. 15-21, 2026), write your thank you note and deliver it to a Little Free Library near you.
    • You can leave your thank you note inside any Little Free Library book-sharing box in the US. Find a location near you using our free mobile app or online map.
    • After Random Acts of Kindness Week, submit an impact form telling us how it went, and you will have a chance to win a free book bundle.

Support: Contact the Community Engagement Manager with any questions.
