    Description

Game Manager (Production & UI/UX Project Management)

    About Us:

The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

We’re looking for a Game Manager (Production & UI/UX Project Management) to join our growing team who is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of game development projects, with a particular focus on managing UI/UX design and technical development teams. This role ensures that production milestones are met on time, within budget, and align with the game's creative and user experience vision.

    What you’ll do:

    • Oversee the entire game production cycle, from concept to release, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and quality.
    • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, developers, artists, QA testers, and producers.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
    • Act as the central point of communication between creative, technical, and operational stakeholders.
    • Ensure the user interface and user experience designs are integrated effectively into the development pipeline.
    • Monitor production progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks or issues.
    • Conduct regular sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
    • Ensure the game’s features, systems, and interfaces meet player needs and platform requirements.
    • Track and report KPIs, milestones, and team performance to senior leadership.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Proven experience as a Game Producer, Project Manager, or Game Manager in a game development studio.
    • Strong understanding of game development pipelines, particularly in UI/UX design and implementation.
    • Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
    • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-disciplinary teams.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and UI/UX workflows.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Familiarity with platform guidelines (PlayStation, Xbox, PC, mobile).
    • Passion for games and understanding of user-centered design principles.
