Free To Be Wild is a leader in rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing Zimbabwe's wildlife. We're looking for a reliable long-term volunteer to coordinate our public communications, according to our existing communications style and brand. In this position, you will:
- Take high-quality photos and videos of Free To Be Wild's staff and volunteers rescuing animals in need, taking care of them, releasing them to the wild, and other work, at the sanctuary as well as traveling to rescues and release sites.
- Coordinate Free To Be Wild's social media, including posting content and replying to comments and messages, following the organization's communications guidelines.
- Write compelling stories of rescued animals with supporting photos and videos.
- Edit video footage to make videos suitable for social media, Free to be Wild's website, sharing with donors, etc.
- Fill other roles in marketing, public communications, and fundraising, as appropriate.

Free to be Wild is based at a forested wildlife sanctuary near the edge of Bulawayo, a large town in Zimbabwe that has its own airport. Volunteer accommodation is on site at the sanctuary.
