    Description

    At Neighborhood Health Clinic, volunteer dentists bring hope and healing to hardworking, uninsured adults in Collier County living with chronic health conditions. Dental care is one of 25+ specialties the Clinic offers, helping patients protect both their smiles and their overall health.

    Volunteer dentists examine, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients, and help them understand how to care for their oral health. Dentists also document patient care and treatment plans. You’ll practice in our modern dental area with four operatories, alongside a dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Malpractice coverage is provided by the State of Florida through sovereign immunity.

    Volunteers who keep a regular schedule build lasting relationships with patients and see the full impact of their care over time. Shifts can be weekly, every other week, or monthly, with on-call options available.

    Requirements

    • Active Florida dental license
    • State approval

    Shifts (in person at the Clinic)

    • Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET
    • Afternoon: 1:00 – 4:00 PM ET
