Description
Deputy Finance Director – Kim Thomas for Governor
Location: Michigan (Hybrid/Remote options) Commitment: Full-Time
The Mission: We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Finance Director to lead our fundraising operations. You will be responsible for building the financial "fuel" that drives this campaign to the finish line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan, including major donor solicitation and grassroots campaigns.
- Donor Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; manage the donor database.
- Event Oversight: Plan and manage fundraising events, from small dinners to large-scale receptions.
- Call Time Management: Organize and manage the candidate’s call time to maximize efficiency and results.
- Compliance: Work closely with the Legal Lead to ensure all fundraising activities meet state election laws and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in political fundraising or non-profit development.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a "no-excuse" attitude toward hitting targets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the candidate professionally.
