    Secretary Volunteer (Administrative Support)

    Position Title: Secretary Volunteer (Administrative Support)

    Organization: Carmel’s Depression & Anxiety Wellness Foundation Inc.

    Location: Inperson- Brooklyn, NY

    Time Commitment: 10-25 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

    Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment or more

    Description:

    Carmel’s Depression & Anxiety Wellness Foundation Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Secretary Volunteer to provide critical administrative support. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a mental health-focused nonprofit that empowers individuals and families with education, advocacy, and wellness resources.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Take clear and accurate meeting minutes during virtual and in-person meetings

    • Prepare and distribute agendas and follow-up summaries

    • Organize and manage digital records and files

    • Help coordinate meetings and send calendar invites

    • Support communication flow between staff, volunteers, and community partners

    • Assist with other light administrative and outreach tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Well-organized, dependable, and proactive

    • Comfortable with email, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)

    • Interest in mental health advocacy and community empowerment

    • Prior administrative experience is a plus, but not required
