Time Commitment: 10-25 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment or more
Description:
Carmel’s Depression & Anxiety Wellness Foundation Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Secretary Volunteer to provide critical administrative support. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a mental health-focused nonprofit that empowers individuals and families with education, advocacy, and wellness resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Take clear and accurate meeting minutes during virtual and in-person meetings
Prepare and distribute agendas and follow-up summaries
Organize and manage digital records and files
Help coordinate meetings and send calendar invites
Support communication flow between staff, volunteers, and community partners
Assist with other light administrative and outreach tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well-organized, dependable, and proactive
Comfortable with email, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Interest in mental health advocacy and community empowerment
Prior administrative experience is a plus, but not required
