Temple Hills Food Bank

Support our Ryan White food bank at AHF Temple Hills, helping people living with HIV access nutritious food and essential support services. Volunteers must be 18+, complete HIPAA/confidentiality training, and be comfortable engaging respectfully with clients from a diverse backgrounds.

Volunteer activities include unpacking vendor deliveries, sorting and stocking inventory, packing grocery orders, assisting clients, and helping maintain a clean, organized and welcoming environment. Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing are required.

Some lifting is involved, but volunteers will never be asked to lift beyond their ability.

We especially welcome volunteers who can commit on a weekly or monthly basis.

Opportunities are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 5pm.
