    Job Summary

    The Medical Coordinator manages medical care for all animals, ensuring e-mails are addressed promptly, timely appointments, vaccinations, and treatments, and keeping records up-to-date.

    Essential Job Functions

    1. Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments for foster animals
    2. Track medical records and treatments for all animals in the system
    3. Communicate with fosters regarding medical needs and instructions
    4. Order and manage medical supplies as needed
    5. Ensure all medical emails are addressed within 24 hours
    6. Ensure all urgent or emergencies are addressed immediately, escalating to the manager when necessary.

    Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Needed

    • Experience in veterinary care or animal health management preferred
    • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
    • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (vets, fosters, staff)
    • Experience with G-suite (gmail, Google sheets, etc.) and Airtable
    • Reasonable access to emails throughout day on assigned days
