About Us My Serenity Sanctuary is a growing nonprofit dedicated to self‑care, well‑being, and advocacy for Black women and girls. We’re seeking a proactive, organized Virtual Volunteer Executive Assistant to support our Founder and help strengthen our operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Founder’s inbox, calendars, and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings and handle calls/inquiries
- Support projects, follow‑ups, and organizational priorities
- Assist with digital organization and basic tech onboarding
- Prepare documents, notes, and internal communications
- Liaise with Board members, staff, volunteers, and partners
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Qualifications
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tech‑savvy (Google Workspace, Slack, QuickBooks, Microsoft Suite, etc.)
- Professional, patient, and able to manage sensitive information
- Creative, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience supporting executives or nonprofits is a plus
- LA‑based preferred, but not required
