    Description

    The volunteer will be responsible for delivering meal trays to patient rooms while adhering to hand hygiene guidelines. As one of the first points of contact with the Dining and Nutrition team, the volunteer should present a warm, confident, cheerful, and helpful demeanor. A professional attitude and appearance, along with excellent communication and customer service skills, are required at all times. The volunteer must be able to hear at a low conversational tone and communicate discreetly when necessary.

    Time commitment is 2 – 4 hours a week Monday through Sunday for a shift between

    8:00 am - 11:00 am

    or

    3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

    If you are reliable, committed to volunteering on a weekly basis, and possess strong interpersonal skills, we would love to speak with you. Please note: Volunteers should be able to stand for extended periods and walk between different areas of the hospital.
