Development Coordinator

Treasure Our Daughters Academy (TODAY) is seeking a skilled and dependable Development Coordinator to help execute the fundraising strategies established by our Board and Development Committee.

This volunteer will help move fundraising initiatives forward through grant research and writing, sponsorship support, donor stewardship, and other development activities.

What You’ll Do

• Research grant and funding opportunities that align with our mission.
• Prepare and submit grant applications and proposals.
• Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.
• Support fundraising campaigns and special initiatives.
• Assist with donor communications and stewardship.
• Maintain organized grant, donor, and fundraising records.
• Support sponsorship outreach, proposals, and follow-up.
• Work closely with the Development Committee to execute fundraising priorities.
• Share ideas and recommendations for potential funding opportunities.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is

An excellent writer, organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable building professional relationships.

Experience with grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit development, sponsorships, donor relations, or a related area is preferred.

Modality

Remote or Hybrid — Volunteers outside Metro Atlanta may serve fully remotely. Local volunteers may serve in a hybrid capacity.

Commitment

Approximately 5–8 hours per month | August–April

Hours are generally flexible, although additional time may occasionally be needed during active grant cycles or major fundraising initiatives.
