    About Boundless Freedom Project

Boundless Freedom Project is a purpose-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals through personal development, reentry support, and volunteer engagement. We believe that transformation begins with access to knowledge, opportunity, and community. Our work connects people ready to give back with programs that create lasting impact in their communities.

    The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused Volunteer Coordinator to help us strengthen and scale our volunteer network nationwide. You’ll be the bridge between passionate volunteers and the programs that need them most. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in connecting people, organizing systems, and leading with heart and strategy.

    What You’ll Do

    • Manage and grow our volunteer database and onboarding pipeline.
    • Coordinate volunteer recruitment campaigns (virtual and local) through social media, community partners, and networks.
    • Schedule and facilitate virtual orientations and training sessions.
    • Match volunteers with appropriate programs, events, or committees based on skills and interests.
    • Track participation and engagement using CRM tools or volunteer management software.
    • Collaborate with program leads to identify ongoing and seasonal volunteer needs.
    • Recognize and celebrate volunteers’ contributions through creative communications, newsletters, and digital spotlights.
    • Assist in developing process improvements to make our volunteer operations more efficient and inclusive.

    Ideal Background

    • Experience in volunteer management, community organizing, or HR coordination.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills (you love connecting people to purpose).
    • Organized and self-directed, with comfort managing digital workflows (Google Workspace, Airtable, or similar).
    • Passionate about social impact, reentry, empowerment, and community transformation.
    • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones.

    Why Join Us

    • Flexible remote role with real impact.
    • Opportunity to help shape a growing national nonprofit.
    • Work alongside compassionate, forward-thinking leaders who believe in empowerment and innovation.
    • Gain valuable nonprofit leadership and strategic operations experience.
