Website Accessibility Support Volunteer

Help us make our website more accessible and welcoming for everyone.

We’re looking for a volunteer to review website content on our Squarespace website and ensure it’s easy to use for people of all abilities, including those who use screen readers or need captions.

As accessibility standards continue to evolve, we want to be proactive in making sure our spaces are inclusive and meet current guidelines. This is an important role in ensuring all of our neighbors can access the resources and services we provide.

What you’ll do:

• Add descriptions (alt text) to images across the website
• Review pages for clarity and readability
• Flag any accessibility issues you notice

Additionally:

• This is a remote volunteer opportunity, so you can contribute from anywhere
• No technical or coding experience required, just attention to detail and a passion to help make information more accessible!
