Volunteer at Hollywood Farmers Market!

Hollywood Farmers Market is a year-round Saturday market which celebrates the bounty of Oregon and Washington agriculture. Our market has over 100 different vendors, community booths, musicians, and the best volunteer crew ever! We also participate in the Double Up Food Bucks program to match SNAP funds and increase access to fresh produce in our community. Consider supporting your local food system and the small farmers that sustain it by joining our volunteer team. We need help with:

• Setup (7-8am): Help ensure the market is ready to open by setting up canopies, umbrellas, tables, chairs, and signs. This position includes heavy lifting.
• Greeting (8-10:30am OR 10:30-1pm): Answer questions and direct customers to their favorite vendors. Greeters give breaks to market vendors, take pictures, keep an eye on water stations, and perform the hourly customer count. This volunteer role involves the most interaction with customers and vendors!
• Information Booth (8-10:30am OR 10:30-1pm): Answer customer questions, perform crowd counts, and help with special events and projects inside the HFM booth.
• Breakdown (12:30-2:00pm): Help take down canopies, umbrellas, tables, chairs, and signs. This position includes heavy lifting.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older (if you are between the ages of 16 – 18 you will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver form). The market is open to the public from 8am-1pm every Saturday April through December, and runs from 9am-1pm on 2nd and 4th Saturdays from January through March.
