Built around gaming, community, and mental health advocacy, TROA serves individuals from all walks of life, particularly those navigating mental health challenges.

    IT Systems Engineer

    The IT Systems Engineer designs, implements, and maintains the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems, to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency. They troubleshoot complex issues, automate tasks through scripting, and optimize system performance, often managing both on-premise and cloud environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware components.
    • System Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network and server performance, performing capacity planning and system tuning.
    • Security & Data Protection:
    • Implement security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and backup/redundancy strategies
    • .
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
    • Automation: Develop scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate tasks and streamline operations.
    • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for system configurations and procedures.
    • Project Collaboration: Work with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deploy new technologies.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS), and scripting languages.
    • Experience: Proven experience in system administration, infrastructure engineering, or a similar role.
    • Certifications: Often requires certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
    • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
