Speaking for Them Animal Alliance is seeking passionate, dedicated volunteers to join our Shelter Accountability Team, beginning with our efforts in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Our mission is to promote transparency, investigate documented animal welfare concerns, advocate for humane shelter practices, and hold public animal care facilities accountable to applicable laws and standards.

We need volunteers to help with:

• 🔎 Researching shelter policies, procedures, and public records
• 📋 Documenting and organizing animal welfare concerns
• ⚖️ Supporting legislative advocacy and shelter reform
• 🐾 Monitoring publicly available shelter statistics and euthanasia practices
• 📢 Community education, outreach, and awareness
• 💙 Advocating for stronger protections and better outcomes for shelter animals

No prior experience required! We welcome researchers, animal advocates, administrative volunteers, community organizers, and anyone willing to dedicate their time to making a difference.

We believe meaningful change begins with facts, compassion, persistence, and accountability.
