Type: In-Person Companion Visits

Schedule: Minimum commitment of 3 visits per month, flexible timing

• We are seeking a compassionate and patient volunteer to provide companionship to an adult living with mild cognitive impairment and speech delay due to stroke. This individual enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, watching the news, and sportsand would love to share these interests with a friendly visitor.

About the Individual:

• a history of elopement and behavioral concerns, so consistency and calm presence are key
• Expresses a desire to move back to Seattle, though currently unable to

Volunteer Requirements:

To ensure a safe and supportive environment, all volunteers must complete:

• A Volunteer Application
• Background Screening
• Medical Screening
• Minimum commitment of 3 in-person visits per month

Ideal Volunteer:

• Kind, patient, and respectful of boundaries
• Comfortable engaging in light conversation and shared activities
• Able to communicate with the care team as needed
