    Description

Respite visits needed- Sit with client while wife has time for errands/self care

Volunteer needed to sit with male client at his home in Winston Salem NC 27106. Home is nice and clean. Client enjoys playing games on tablet and doesn't talk very much due to condition. Client is able to eat/drink, walk and talk but prefers playing games on tablet. Wife is in need of being able to go shopping and at times to ride her bike for exercise and self care while of course taking a mental health break. She would feel at ease knowing someone is with patient during these times. Visits should last between 1.5 and 2 hrs each to allow her time to complete what she needs to do. Visits should not exceed more than 2.5 hrs at one time due to volunteers not providing hands on care or being able to administer medications.
