    Description

    Administrative & Community Outreach Volunteer

    Location: Remote

    Schedule: Flexible (10–20 hours per week, depending on availability)

    Compensation: Internship (unpaid)

    About the Opportunity

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative & Community Outreach Volunteer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about community stewardship, wants to gain practical experience in team-building, and excited about developing their leadership skills.

    As a volunteer, you will work closely with our leadership team to help strengthen and expand our group's reach. Your contributions will directly support our mission while providing valuable hands-on experience in multiple areas of nonprofit management.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Updating and maintaining our website and social media platforms
    • Conducting email and phone outreach to community members, partners, and supporters;
    • Assisting with community engagement and relationship building;
    • Researching and assisting in drafting grant proposals and funding applications;
    • Providing administrative support for organizational projects and events;
    • Assisting leadership with strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned;
    • Assisting in cultivating art projects big and small to promote healing and justice;
    • Possible travel to international partner sites and communities.

    Qualifications

    • Passionate about community service and social impact
    • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable using computers and online communication tools
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently
    • Willing to learn and take initiative
    • Fluency in Spanish is preferred!

    Experience with social media, website management, or grant writing is a plus but is not required.
