American Heart Association - 2026 Tri-County New Jersey Heart Walk

The Tri-County New Jersey Heart Walk is back at beautiful Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, NJ! Join us on Sunday, October 4, with other members of the community, as we walk for better health and the opportunity to save lives. Our volunteers are the key to accomplishing this goal. The support we receive from the community is greatly appreciated as these events would not be successful without our volunteers. Our Heart Walk has always been about coming together, getting hearts pumping, honoring survivors, raising lifesaving funds - and having fun along the way.

There are volunteer opportunities for people of all ages, including:

• Setting up stations - organize and set up supplies in tents.
• Covering stations - handing out snacks, American Heart Association health information, managing our Kid's Zone and more.
• Bark Park - encouraging our furry friends to stop for food and water.
• Water stations: We will have two to three "hydration stations" throughout the course for walkers to stop and hydrate. Volunteers will be at each station, handing out water and cheering on our walkers.
• Breakdown: At the end of the walk we will need help cleaning up and loading everything into cars.
