The Manna Center has its very foundation in Christ’s call to share with all persons in need as evidenced in Matthews’s gospel (25: 35-40).

Our purpose is to be a central, cooperative, support agency partnering with the churches, businesses, civic organizations, and individuals of the Siloam Springs area in providing services and resources to those in need.

As a Thrift Store Clerk Volunteer, you will Support our organization by working to maintain our Thrift Store for those in need.

The duties included are like working in a retail facility. Racks of clothes that need to be priced and sold. It is a constant cycle of hanging up, pricing, selling, and starting all over again with different merchandise. There are several racks of clothing, small household items, bedding, toys, shoes, etc. The store needs to be monitored and kept clean during opening hours. Misplaced items need to be returned to the proper location.

This is an in-person role, averaging 12 hours per week. M-F 2 shifts: 9-1 and 1-5 and Sat 10-3.

Requested length of service: 6 months
