    Description

Chief Growth and Partnerships Officer (100% Volunteer role)

We are BizLeadhers, a nonprofit on a mission to help women entrepreneurs build bold, sustainable businesses. Through our incubator programs, we provide hands-on skill building, mentorship, expert support, and powerful networks. We believe access matters—and we’re building the kind of ecosystem we wish more founders had from day one.

    The Opportunity

The Chief Growth & Partnerships is a senior volunteer leader responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and strategic partnerships to advance BizLeadhers’ mission of supporting women entrepreneurs at early and growth stages. This role owns the fundraising vision and mobilizes the leadership team, board, and broader network to deliver tangible fundraising results.

This position will report directly to the CEO, is part of the Leadership Team, and will have strategic impact on BizLeaders' operations and trajectory.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about empowering women entrepreneurs and motivated to contribute to women’s uplifting and business success in the US. Our clients exhibit bravery, grit and resourcefulness, and you find their stories and perseverance inspiring and meaningful.

    Strategic Mandate

The Chief Growth & Partnerships will:

    • Lead the organization’s fundraising and partnership strategy
    • Translate mission and impact into compelling funding opportunities
    • Build and steward relationships that generate financial and in-kind support
    • Establish a culture of shared responsibility for growth across leadership and board

How you will create impact (Key Responsibilities):

    Fundraising Strategy & Execution

    • Develop and oversee an annual fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals
    • Identify and prioritize revenue streams (individual giving, grassroot giving, corporate sponsorships, foundations, events, earned revenue)
    • Set clear fundraising targets and success metrics in collaboration with CEO and CFO
    • Actively participate in donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship

    Partnership Development

    • Build and deepen strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and ecosystem partners aligned with women entrepreneurship
    • Open doors through personal and professional networks
    • Co-create partnership models that deliver mutual value and long-term engagement

    Leadership & Enablement

    • Serve as a visible fundraising champion on the Leadership Team
    • Equip and engage board and leadership members to participate meaningfully in fundraising
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff or volunteers supporting development efforts
    • Help refine messaging around impact, outcomes, and value proposition

    Governance & Accountability

    • Track progress against fundraising goals and report regularly to leadership
    • Help establish lightweight systems and processes to support sustainable growth
    • Ensure ethical, transparent, and mission-aligned fundraising practices

    Ideal Profile

    • Leadership Team role, reports to CEO, time commitment 5-8 hours/week
    • Senior leader with experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development, or revenue growth. Experience in startups, accelerators, incubators, or founder communities is a big plus.
    • Experience volunteering or working for non profit organizations, leading a remote team of volunteers with clarity, enthusiasm and structure
    • Strong relationship builder with access to relevant networks
    • Strategic thinker who is also comfortable being hands-on and getting things done
    • Passionate about supporting women entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures
    • Energized by building something meaningful in a lean, high-impact environment
