    Description

We are looking for a Portuguese speaker to match with a Portuguese-speaking consumer! It's important that our volunteer speaks English as well, in order to communicate with our staff.

Make a difference in the life of an older adult neighbor in Somerville or Cambridge by enabling them to continue to live independently -- become a Money Management program Bill Payer volunteer!

Assist one of our consumers by making sure the bills are paid on time. This volunteer role is primarily responsible for helping a client organize and pay bills, balance the check book, and develop a household budget so they can live within their means. Regularly scheduled rent and utility payments enable people to continue living in their homes.
