Comfort Hospice of Las Vegas is committed to our mission to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and their entire family.
Some of our patients are spending the final weeks, days, and hours of their lives alone, without family and friends nearby. Although they become part of the Comfort Hospice family, these individuals would benefit from your companionship, and supportive presence, at the end of their lives. Vigil Volunteers are trained to support patients in their final hours, by holding their hand, providing reassurance, creating a peaceful environment through music and aromatherapy, and offering support throughout their transition.
You will receive full hospice volunteer training, and specialized Vigil Volunteer training. All volunteers with Comfort Hospice complete a basic physical and background check, paid for by Comfort Hospice.
If this sounds like a meaningful opportunity to you, please contact our Manager of Volunteer Services, Clotine Bell, at Clotine.bell@comfortnv.com, to learn more.
