    About DMV Music Alliance

DMV Music Alliance is a growing creative community dedicated to supporting artists, music professionals, and emerging talent through events, collaborations, education, and industry opportunities. We’re building bridges in the DMV music scene — one artist at a time.

    About the Role

Do you always know the next artist before everyone else does? Are you the friend constantly saying, “I knew them before they blew up”? Then this role might have your name written all over it.

We’re looking for passionate and connected Talent Scouts to help us discover rising artists, producers, performers, and creatives across the DMV area. If you love live music, networking, social media, and uncovering hidden gems, we want you on the team.

    What You’ll Do

    • Discover and recommend emerging artists and creatives in the DMV area
    • Attend local showcases, events, open mics, and music-related gatherings
    • Build relationships with artists and creative communities
    • Help identify talent for DMV Music Alliance programs, events, and opportunities
    • Stay tapped into music trends, buzzing talent, and underground scenes
    • Share artist insights and updates with the team

    What We’re Looking For

    • Must reside in the DMV area
    • Passion for music and discovering talent
    • Strong networking and communication skills
    • Active on social media and connected to creative spaces is a plus
    • Self-motivated, observant, and community-driven
    • No music industry experience required — just a good ear and great energy

    What You’ll Gain

    • Hands-on experience in artist relations and talent discovery
    • Networking opportunities within the music industry
    • Access to creative events and collaborations
    • A chance to help shape the future of emerging artists
    • Portfolio-building and recommendation opportunities based on performance
