Join the Matthews HELP Center: be a part of something very special and make a difference in your community.

We at Matthews HELP Center are working together to help our neighbors in need. We are, as our logo expresses, "A House with a Heart."

There are many wonderful opportunities here for individuals and groups to share their talents and time. Our volunteers’ kind spirits and generosity are what allow us to serve those suffering in a crisis situation. Please consider joining our mission. In return for a few hours each week volunteers receive a tremendous sense of accomplishment.

Come work as a donations pricer in our Backporch Treasures Boutique. Join a community of committed and passionate individuals serving in a fun and energetic environment. Donation pricers sort, organize, price donations. These donations are then sold in our Boutique, providing our social work team with the funds they need to help our neighbors in crisis. There are several opportunities available: Monday- Saturday, 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm. Volunteers are rquired to work one shift (4 hours) per week.
