About Us

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) provides vital support to service members during life’s challenging moments. We offer financial education and assistance in our office, budgeting workshops for expectant and new parents through our Budget for Baby program, and access to affordable uniforms, clothing, and household goods at our Thrift Store.

Whether you have a military connection or none at all, we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who want to serve those who serve our nation.

Volunteer Roles Available

At NMCRS North Island, we offer meaningful volunteer positions with flexible schedules—whether you can help once a week or more.

We are currently seeking:

• Client Services Assistants (CSAs): Greet clients, manage appointments, and help ensure the office runs smoothly.
• Caseworkers: Work directly with Sailors and Marines to provide financial guidance, budgeting assistance, and emergency support (training provided).

Both roles are essential to our mission and have a powerful, positive impact on the military community.
