Description
We are seeking compassionate and organized volunteers to facilitate classes using our established curriculum designed specifically for noncustodial mothers. Your goal will be to provide a supportive environment where mothers can engage with materials focused on [insert key theme, e.g., personal growth, legal literacy, or emotional wellness].
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Content: Present provided materials and lead group discussions effectively.
- Foster Community: Create a safe, non-judgmental space for participants to share experiences.
- Program Advocacy: Serve as an ambassador for the program by identifying opportunities to promote the classes to local organizations, support groups, or community centers.
- Relationship Building: Actively engage with local stakeholders to help reach noncustodial mothers who could benefit from these resources.
- Feedback: Provide brief updates to the program coordinator on participant engagement and potential outreach leads.
Qualifications:
- Empathy & Sensitivity: An understanding of the unique challenges faced by noncustodial mothers.
- Communication: Strong public speaking and the ability to explain the program's value to both mothers and community partners.
- Proactive Mindset: A self-starter attitude with an interest in grassroots advocacy and community networking.
- Reliability: Commitment to the scheduled class times and consistent follow-through on advocacy efforts.
