    Description

    Join us in our award-winning clinic! The Superbill Preparation Assistant helps the administrative team by preparing, organizing, and setting aside patient superbills for the upcoming week. Superbills are detailed itemized listings of services our patients receive at our onsite clinic. This role ensures efficiency during patient visits and supports smooth office operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review the weekly appointment schedule.
    • Print blank superbills and fill out for each scheduled patient.
    • Double-check that all required information is accurate and complete (patient name, DOB, address, phone #, chart #, provider, appointment date).
    • Organize superbills by day and appointment time.
    • Communicate with the front desk team regarding any missing or unclear information.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential patient information responsibly (HIPAA awareness).
    • Comfortable working with paper files and/or electronic scheduling systems.
    • Previous administrative or clerical experience is helpful but not required.

    Volunteers will receive training on:

    • How to navigate the appointment schedule.
    • How to correctly pull/print superbills.
    • HIPAA and patient confidentiality basics.
