Make a Meaningful Difference in Someone's Day
Providence PACE is seeking a compassionate and reliable volunteer to provide companionship and social engagement for an older adult in the community.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Friendly conversation and social visits
- Playing games, cards, or engaging in hobbies
- Sharing stories and life experiences
- Providing encouragement and companionship
- Supporting social connection and reducing isolation
Volunteer Requirements:
- Minimum commitment of 6 months preferred
- Complete volunteer onboarding, background check, and training
- Dependable, respectful, and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Schedule: Flexible daytime visits, approximately 1-2 hours per week.
