    Description

Since 1984, California libraries have worked to provide free, accessible literacy services to the adults who struggle with basic literacy skills. Long Beach Public Library joined this mission in 2019 and has provided the Long Beach community with tutors and workshops that have helped countless people transform their lives with literacy.

As a volunteer tutor, you will work with adult learners in a variety of settings, helping them achieve their literacy and life goals. Become an Adult Literacy volunteer and help change someone's life today!
