    National Treasurer

    Title: Volunteer: National Treasurer — American PACT to Restore American Values

    Location: Remote — United States

    Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week

    About Us: American PACT (People Acting Collectively Together) is a nonpartisan, citizen-led movement dedicated to establishing congressional term limits and returning government to the people. Website: citizensforlimits.org

    About This Role: The National Treasurer is responsible for the financial integrity of American PACT. As the movement grows toward accepting citizen contributions, this role is critical in ensuring full legal compliance, transparency, and responsible stewardship of funds.

    What You'll Do:

    • Oversee all financial accounts and transactions
    • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state financial regulations
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
    • Prepare regular financial reports for leadership and supporters
    • Research and implement legally compliant donation methods
    • Recommend a bank or financial institution for the organization's accounts
    • Work with legal counsel on filing and reporting requirements

    What We're Looking For:

    • Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
    • Familiarity with nonprofit or political organization financial requirements preferred
    • Unimpeachable integrity and commitment to full transparency
    • Detail-oriented and thorough
    • Comfortable with AI tools — expected of all national volunteers
    • U.S. citizen currently residing in the United States
