    Description

    Our nonprofit, Lhamen Foundation, seeks a creative, digitally-savvy volunteer to strengthen and grow our social media presence in the hopes of spreading the Dharma and our work across healing, sacred knowledge, and contemplative practices. This is a part-time, short-term role with the possibility of transitioning into a longer-term role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and schedule engaging content for Instagram and Facebook (posts, reels, and stories)
    • Design graphics using Canva or similar tools
    • Develop and manage a social media content calendar
    • Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments as appropriate, and support audience growth
    • Assist with email marketing and mailing campaigns

    Ideal Qualifications

    • A willingness to support and learn, regardless of one's professional or experiential qualifications
    • Familiarity with Vajrayana Buddhism
    • Experience creating content for Instagram and Facebook
    • Strong visual sensibility and basic design skills (Canva or similar platforms)
    • Understanding of social media engagement strategies and analytics
    • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently
    • Open-minded, collaborative, and aligned with a nonprofit mission

    Time Commitment

    Flexible hours; estimated 5-15 hours per week (to be defined). Remote-friendly but ideally based in the Bay Area / East Bay Area.

    This role is well-suited for someone looking to build a portfolio, contribute to mission-driven work, and make a measurable impact.
