Volunteers needed for Winter lights at The North Carolina Arboretum!
Details
Description
Winter Lights is TNCA’s biggest annual fundraiser that supports the Arboretum’s educational programs, exhibits and facilities. It consists of a walk-through light display made from over one million LED lights, along with live music, gift shops, food and drink, and many wonderful exhibits! This is the busiest and most magical time of the year. The formal gardens light up, bringing holiday cheer to thousands of visitors, and many volunteers are needed to pull off this spectacle. Come volunteer and bring joy to many this winter! There are added benefits for volunteers, including a free Winter Lights ticket after three shifts and a free or half off adult education class after six shifts. To volunteer you must be 18 or over and attend one of the following orientations at The North Carolina Arboretum: November 4 from 6-7:30 PM or Nov 5 from 3-4:30 PM. Please sign up by creating an account on VolunteerHub. Winter Lights runs from Nov 13- Jan 3.
