    Jeremiah’s Inn (JI) is a community of individuals and organizations committed to helping those in our community who suffer from the devastating effects of substance use disorder and Food Insecurity.

    As a Nutrition Newsletter Writer Volunteer, you will share your passion for nutrition using your strong writing skills to develop a newsletter for our nutrition center guests. The goal is to increase the knowledge of nutrition, food culture while also providing public resources.

    This is a virtual role, working independently. Deadlines will be agreed upon at first meet and will include communication with the Nutrition Center Director. An average of 4 hours per week is estimated.

    Skills helpful in this role are working independently, creativity, passion for nutrition, recipe creations, knowledge of healthy eating, learning about available nutrition resources and eligibility, excellent Word/Google Doc skills, Strong writer and time management skills. The newsletter will be sent in English and Spanish, bi-lingual in both languages is a plus!
