Mentor to Families in Need - Family Liaison

YOU can make all the difference for a local family living in poverty! Families Forward Charlotte needs dedicated, compassionate volunteers to serve as Family Liaisons for local families facing poverty from March 2026 to March 2027.

You'll be matched with a family and walk alongside them on their journey toward long-term stability. As a Family Liaison, you'll build a trusting relationship with your family partner, help them set and achieve personal goals, connect them with valuable community resources, and offer consistent encouragement and support throughout the year.

This role requires just 4-6 hours per month, and we provide detailed training and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident and equipped to make a lasting impact.

Whether you're an individual, couple, or family with children who want to serve together, this is an impactful way to create change right here in Charlotte.
