    Description

Support grieving families by making Bereavement Check-In Calls.

The journey of grief can be a lonely road to walk alone.

Volunteer a small amount of your time to make 12 month check-in calls to families who have recently had a loved one die. After a patient passes, Accent Care Hospice of Meridian offers support to their loved ones for at least 13 months following the loss.

We do this in hopes to ease the pain loved ones experience as they walk along the path of grief.

Bereavement Check-In Call Volunteers support the grief needs of low-risk family members, friends, and members of the community. Specific training will be provided.
