    Description

    This role is primarily for passionate college students or young adults over 18 that are looking to further their community service experience that can serve as transferable skills when exploring future career opportunities! All Site Assistants must complete an SOS background check and Orientation .

    The Site Assistant supports the Site Leader in managing student volunteers during community service events. Site Assistants help ensure events run smoothly by assisting with check-in, monitoring for safety, communicating with parents, and documenting the event.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support Sign-In/Out: Help sign students in and out, and maintain accurate attendance records.
    • Safety Oversight: Assist in supervising students and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.
    • Parent & Student Support: Answer questions and assist with basic communication needs on site, deferring to site leader and/or SOS staff.
    • Event Documentation: Take photos and gather content for organizational use.

    Assist the Site Leader: Be ready to step in wherever needed to help the event run smoothly.
