Remote from Home - Volunteers needed to send postcards to patients to brighten their day (California Resident)

Anchor Health is currently seeking remote-from-home Hospice Volunteers who live in the State of California.

Volunteering with Hospice will give you an opportunity to truly make a difference in another person's life. Every minute you volunteer directly or indirectly helps our patients, their families, and those who care for them.

We’re always looking to have more volunteers send postcards with sweet messages to our patients to help brighten their day! Postcard Volunteers purchase or make postcards and purchase the postcard postage (currently $.65 cents per stamp) at their own cost. It's such a sweet thing if you’re able to do it for one patient or for several – it’s up to you! Receiving mail these days is always a welcome surprise that really brightens our patients day. Everyone loves to get some mail now and then!

How do you get started?

Let us know you're interested, and our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out via email! You will receive an orientation to hospice concepts as well as training, and you will be well-supported and greatly appreciated by Patients, their families, and the entire Anchor Health Hospice team.
