Social Media Volunteer – Support Disability Inclusion Programs

Stride4ward is seeking a volunteer to support social media outreach that helps expand awareness of inclusive community experiences for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers.

This role supports storytelling, visibility, and connection with families, volunteers, and community partners across New York City.

Responsibilities may include:

• helping draft social media posts
• sharing program updates and event highlights
• identifying relevant community groups and networks
• supporting outreach to local partners
• assisting with basic content organization

Volunteers do not need prior nonprofit experience. Creativity, reliability, and interest in inclusive community work are most important.

This is a flexible remote opportunity that supports access, connection, and belonging for individuals with diverse abilities.

Stride4ward is happy to support students seeking academic credit or internship hours when arranged through their college or university.
