    Position Summary

    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Intern participates in an executive-level learning experience focused on financial strategy, budgeting concepts, and organizational financial planning within a structured program environment.

    This role provides exposure to financial analysis, reporting practices, resource planning, and financial decision-making under supervision.

    Participants may engage at different levels within this role based on the program’s tiered structure (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced), depending on prior experience, engagement, and program needs.

    Learning Focus Areas

    • Financial planning and budgeting concepts
    • Financial reporting and analysis
    • Organizational resource allocation strategies
    • Revenue and cost structure understanding
    • Financial forecasting and performance metrics

    Program Activities

    Participants may engage in:

    • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and summaries (for learning purposes)
    • Supporting analysis of financial data and trends
    • Participating in budgeting and planning discussions
    • Assisting with financial documentation and tracking processes
    • Observing financial strategy discussions and decision-making
    • Supporting the development of financial models or projections (for learning purposes)
    • Communicating observations or insights to leadership

    All activities are conducted within a supervised and guided learning environment.

    Leadership Development Component

    Exposure to executive-level financial strategy, planning discussions, and organizational decision-making.

    This is a developmental experience and does not involve control over financial accounts, funds, or business decisions.
